R9 270x cant run BF1 on low. HELP

Hey guys this is my rig:

R9 270x
I5 4470k 3.4 ghz
8 gb DDR3 ram

Heres the problem, I load up BF1 and I get about 10 fps on the lowest graphics. Ive seen videos on youtube of people easily managing to play it on medium/high with a similar set up.

Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong? All my drivers are up to date.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Needs more RAM, I'm always going over 8GB when playing BF 1 without anything open in the background.

I get 80-120 fps with 8gb of ram so that isn't the issue.

Depends what he is running in the background, also make sure the Xbox app isn't running DVR.

True, but id dont believe it is the root of the problem, hopefully op already tried closing background apps. Screenshots of a monitoring program such as msi afterburner showing both cpu and gpu usage would be helpful.

Are you overclocking? my friend had trouble with it until he went back to stock clocks.

something is wrong you should get around 70fps on medium 1080p.
