Hi, i've been searching for a laptop that falls in my budget ($800) for college. I live in Latin America, so somebody in the US is gonna order it from Amazon. I've been looking for some alternatives, like a used one. But i'm not sure about it arriving in time/good conditions. Have you heard of this vendor? "Rayvern Lighting Supply" I'll leave a link to the product... Thanks for any help! https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B01LTBK4PO/ref=dp_olp_used?ie=UTF8&condition=used

I've not heard of them but they have very good ratings on Amazon (almost 700 reviews, with 98% positive). It's not easy to fake that many good reviews as an Amazon seller, so I wouldn't worry. I'd happily buy a product from them.

Yeah I thought about it too. But when you read the reviews, they are almost all about light bulbs, so I don't really know if they are reliable :/

Thanks man! I'm really looking for more memory cause projects and stuff. One question, Is the GTX 940MX better than the GTX 1070 8GB?

Good god hell no! :)
Would you be interested in building a mini ITX small form factor PC to take to college with you?
It is much better value, and you can get a GTX 1060 in that budget.
A 1070 is out of the question there though unless you go for a 1k budget.

As I said before, is also a question of space in a travel bag (a relative is doing me the favor of buying one) . I've heard a little about these mini pcs in the past, but do you think it would be the same size as a laptop? And if so where can i buy them?

This just hits the spot! Thanks again! Just to know, is there any companies that sell this kind of pc already bundled? Just to make it easier to the person that's buying it :)

Nope, nobody will sell a PC of this form factor for this price, if anything it'd go for around $1200!
Custom PCs are a rip off.
Get these parts together and get a local PC store to put it together for you cheap, then all that's left is to install windows + drivers if that's not included in the price and run it.
