I've got an older Acer Aspire One with an Intel Atom N455 processor and 1GB of RAM. I am wondering if upping that to a 2GB stick and buying a cheap, small SSD would be worth doing? The memory I'm looking at is from Crucial and is about $15 shipped. SSD, here's the SSD I was looking at. It would be about $65 for the memory and SSD. I'm not looking to do anything but surf the web with it but still want more speed. Any more info needed let me know.

Solution
It would help, marginally, from Yaris to a Corolla, that's about it, if even. The intractable problem is, modern web pages got complicated graphics and needs middleware to decipher those high level html5, directx, java blah they love so much. This ain't your grandpa html-text.
