Question about audio ports

When I connect my headphones to the back port the audio is lower compared to when it is connected to the front audio port. I don't know if this is meant to be like this or if its something with the drivers that's messing up, thank you for the help.

Your Mobo maybe equipped with a small earphone amp and the front jacks are specifically designed for earphones. The jacks on the back are typically designed to be hookup, in a perm-semipermanent basis to other equipment like a receiver. Each pair of jacks are designed to work the different "impedances" if you heard that term before.

Yeah, thats probably the case to why it happens, I guess Ill have to tinker around and see what I can do. Thanks.
