Hello! I got a problem on my Asus K55DR laptop. Whenever I try to install my chipset driver and I restart my laptop I will be stuck on the starting windows screen.I tried every driver version i found for my laptop but it didn't work and so the problem persisted. I tried changing my windows multiple times windows 7,8 ande 8.1. None of those worked.
Before that I was getting a BSOD with the error 0x116. If I want to open my laptop with the driver installed I must boot in safe mode and disable one of my chipsets. When I start the windows with only one chipset enabled it will start but when I check the properties for my working chipset it will give me this error:"Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)".
Specs:
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
BIOS ver. 04.06.05
Processor: AMD A8-4500M APU with Radeon HD Graphics
DirectX 11
Chipsets:
AMD Radeon HD 7400M Series
AMD Radeon HD 7640G

When you say "chipset" are you actually talking about the video card? You list video cards under "chipsets" which is not actually the chipset. A Chipset Driver deals with the motherboard, USB controllers, memory controllers and such, not the video card.

If the issue is with the video cards, it may just be bad. You can try different RAM also.

Yes, I was reffering to the video card. And it's not a problem with the RAM(2x4GB DDR3 Kingston). It's just the video driver. The problem appeared when I had windows 8.1. It was 3AM and the windows was updating. I was very tired at the time and i forced shut down.

Shutting off a system while it's updating or installing something in Windows is not a good idea, you are lucky the thing boots at all. Do a repair setup of Windows or a reset the laptop to factory defaults. A factory reset will wipe the disk so make sure you have a backup of your files and web bookmarks. The RAM amount does not matter, if the RAM is bad, since it's shared with the onboard video, it can give you video card issues. But since you now added the fact that you shut the thing off in middle of a Windows update, that gives a lot more clues as to what happened.
