Hi,

I am a 2D, 3D graphic designer by profession. My current laptop is outdated now. It is i5 2nd Gen with Intel HD 3000. I want to get an awesome laptop matching my work specs.

Budget $800-$1100

- I personally dont like INTEL HD GPUs (i am a Gamer too) so a nVIDIA Gpu will be great,.
- Full HD DISPLAY 1080p,
- Good Battery Timing,
- Outstanding Processor (6th gen i7 minimum) I will be doing lot of 3D rendering on it so i just cant get any lower than that.
- Simple but modern design.

I have great experience with HP's actually never tried any other brand yet.

PS: No MAC only PCs

Thank You.

For your line of work i strongly suggest that yuo look into building a desktop as desktop CPUs wipe the floor with laptop ones whne it comes to rendering, for example.

Mobile quad core i7s these days are not that bad. Sure they are slower than a 6700k, but not by a ton...

As i mentioned i want this for my professional use. I cant take Desktop PC anywhere with me. This will help me in office and in late night when i am doing freelance work on my bed.

Unless you REQUIRE the portability of a laptop (goto different customer sites). Get yourself a desktop. you get much more bang for you buck, and you can upgrade the individual parts over time.

MSI is very reliable. They make some of the best gaming laptops on the market.

If you want, Asus is another good one but is about $100 more than your budget.
