My Asus laptop has been randomly turning itself off for the past couple months. Not often. And then yesterday after my cat managed to bring up the aptio utility page somehow, it turned off again after about 5 minutes of using it and now it won't turn back on. Anyone know what it could be?
Are you connected to a power supply or using the battery? If it's the latter, maybe it's the battery.
If you are connected to a power supply, then maybe something is overheating and powering down the laptop to save it from burning out? Is the fan running to actively cool the CPU? Can you hear anything when the laptop is on?
Other than that, it could be a physical hardware failure with a component, but without the ability to swap stuff out, you're kinda out of luck :\
