The various members on here will have different recommendations based on their own experiences, but I've been using the free version of Comodo Internet Security for around 8 -10 years with no complaints. I've installed it on all 3 computers in my household and none of them have ever been infected or hacked, so why pay for something else?

Best of all, it's free - - I don't believe in paying for internet security anyhow - - most are a rip-off when it comes to subscription-renewal, especially Norton.

Comodo Internet hey? Of all the antivirus threads I've read over the years I've never heard of that suggestion before. I'll check it out too.

I'm in the same boat as OP. I have been a Norton user for the last 5 years and have never had a problem. but I keep reading all the hate about Norton and how bad it is at this and that so i thought i'd give something else a try. I have until tomorrow to bring back my unopened Norton that i had bought on sale for $19.99(normally $80 or something).

It is funny though, you speak with 100 people and you probably get 50 different anti virus recomendations.

LOL stop messing with me man :)

everyone I speak with/read about says Norton is the devil blah blah.

Even though I never had an issue with it at all.

Do you have any feedback on the comments that it's a resource hog also?

Thanks for the prompt reply
