XFINITY on demand streaming not working on Mac laptop or Iphone

Before the latest Xfinity update I could watch from my Mac laptop using the new interface (beta version) now the laptop won't work nor will the app on my phone. I get an error 11700. The app plays on my ipad and it has the same version (3.9.0.653) of the app installed as the phone but for ipad. My husband's iphone app works because he is running the 3.7.0.604 version of the app. Any advice?

resend the signal is for the cable box, did you mention the issue is for the apps.
Can you remove the beta version and get back to the older version?

Thanks. I did and they said each user needed their own login so we did that and it didn't work. The chat agent said she would resend a signal and that didn't work either.
