Just bought a brand new Asus Eeebook 402, the higher end version that has 8 GB RAM, 128 SSD and the Celeron N3700 processor. While its obviously a budget laptop did expect to be able to handle a browser without grinding to a halt. As it is now, it's almost unusable. As soon as I do something it goes up to 100% in CPU usage.

Could this be bloatware or something else? Any suggestions?

It could be that. It could also be something with the browser. Have you checked what is running when you start up the device, before you even start to do anything, and what the usage is at then?

If it is giving you that much trouble already, and it is new, I would be contacting the place of purchase or the manufacturer.
