Hi ya i am tryng to reset my laptop compaq cq61 to its factory setting by pressing F11 but it says no operating system found

I've edited your thread title to something more meaningful.
Asking for a factory reset doesn't involved the operating system at all - it aims at another Partition that has information on the reset. Why do you need to do that? What was wrong in the system - does it start when you power up?
There will be an answer to this but for now, it's all questions.
