I have asus n56j laptop which was connected successfully to my samsung TV previously, but I accidentally tripped over the cord and was forcefully pulled out of the HDMI port on the laptop. I just purchased a new HDMI cable and connected it to my tv, but I get a no signal messege. I turned both off with cable connected... boot up Laptop completely first, then turned on tv. Nothing. Tried all combinations and settings... nothing on The settings on the TV remained the same as when it was working well. Went to see device adapters and did not see HDMI listed. Your kind advice please. Thank you for your help.
