Hi there,

I'm looking to buy a laptop and am considering the Asus Zenbook UX305CA (which is in a store which delivers to where I live) but I'm slightly concerned about its processing power. I've seen reviews (http://www.laptopmag.com/reviews/laptops/asus-zenbook-ux305ca) which suggest this model can be slightly laggy when multitasking, which ideally I'd like to avoid.

The version of the product I'm looking to get (Asus Zenbook UX305CA-FC161T) seems to have a more advanced processor than the version in the review (Core M5-6Y54 as opposed to Core M3-6Y30) so I'm wondering whether that will mitigate these issues. It only has a 128GB SSD though, while the reviewed product has 256GB.

I'm a student, and will only really be using the laptop for uni work/ surfing the web/ Netflix so I don't think I need to worry too much, but again I'd just like to avoid these issues if I can. I also sometimes use FL Studio 12 (a DAW) which apparently requires quite a lot processing power, but I use it pretty casually (and without too many plugins) so I don't think this should be too big of a deal. So should I be ok?

Really appreciate your help!

Solution
Yeah it should be fine. 128GB is low though,so consider upgrading it later or just get an external HDD for your vids/pics etc. and use the SSD for your main apps
