Rode Audiomicro on Coolpix S4300.

Hi!

I had the Coolpix for about one year or so and recently bought a stand and the Audiomicro to record video with. The stand worked fine (Andersson CAT 1.2) but I can´t figure out a way to attach the mic. It says on the Amazon site that it will work on point and shoot cameras. There is nothing on top of the camera except for the on/off switch. Does anyone know how to do it?

Looking at the manual there does not appear to be a way to connect that or any microphone to the Coolpix S4300. The mic uses a 3.5mm connector and the S4300 does not have a microphone jack (3.5mm or any other mic connector).

That´s fine, I can just plug it in to a laptop and use it with Audacity and sync it later. I was talking about how to mount it on the camera. I have heard about C flash brackets. Does it work with them?

It should work with that device. It looks like you have two options of where to place the microphone.
