What VPN should I get?

I am Looking to get a VPN. I will be using it for mostly browsing the web and maybe for a Private Server. I am looking for something that i can use it on multiple devices (I have a PC, Mac laptop, and iphone).

Ones i like so far:

airvpn - Good with TOR
tunnelbear - 500mb for free and good with iphone
IPVanish - Good with windows
ExpressVPN - good with Macs
NordVPN - Best average one that works well with tor/windows/mac
BolehVPN - Good with TOR

Those are the ones i found that look good. I based things on 14 eyes country and other stuff. I know some are part of 14 eyes but they seem to have good reviews.

Price range i am looking at is under $10/month as of right now.

the better the encryption the more secure your likely to be. but aes 256 is good enough for most things. if your doing things like online banking then the stronger the handshake the better.
i dug this up and may be more enlightening than a short answer i can give.

sorry mate i use cyberghost. its good enough for what i need it to do so i havent bothered trying other vpn's

as for a connection to your own pc. not really... unless its sensitive data you could just use a normal p2p connection and should still be relatively secure depending on what app your using to send and receive data.

pick the 1 which has the most comprehensive security. such as 128bit (minimum) aes encryption and no logging.
as for tor. your best off not using it with a vpn as it can introduce security holes due to the way it works as opposed to the normal net.
tor for instance inst flash secure which a lot of vpns are. meaning if you use flash and its been compromised tor could leak your real ip while you appear to be secure via the vpn.

Good to know about that for TOR.

The thing is, most of those have data encryption of aes-128 or better. For example NordVPN has AES-256-CBC. Another thing i am looking at is the handshake encryption like RSA-2048. For that, how secure does that need to be.

So far, I am thinking about getting NordVPN, do you have any experience with it? Also AitVPN specializes in Tor. :p not sure that that means but you can setup their VPN for Tor.

I forgot to mention that i want to connect to my computer at home while i am away and use the VPN to encrypt the connection, Would a VPN be the most practical thing to use for this also?

Thank you for the answer! So far I like NordVPN the best. Being able to use 6 devices on it is a real benefit.
