So I'm thinking of getting the Dell Inspiron 15 7559 ( https://goo.gl/RwtXMd ).

This will be for studying Architecture at uni and, at around this price point, this seems to be the best laptop (I also get a 15% student discount).

However, my uni recommends getting more than 16GB RAM, which is supposedly the limit of the 7559.

I say supposedly because Crucial ( https://goo.gl/940Bso ) say the maximum is 32GB. However Mr Memory ( https://goo.gl/6p4wVY ) says it's 16GB. [Also I'm aware Lenovo say their Y700-15ISK can only run 16GB but can actually run 32GB]

So my question is: can the Inspiron 15 7559 have more than 16GB/ use 32GB of RAM?
Thank you for your time.

Kingston Memory Shop says the total max RAM supported is 16GB:

However, there is a lot of conflicting information out there on this model so there's no way to know for sure unless you're prepared to risk buying 2 x 16GB sticks to try them.

Mind you, why you would need more than 16GB RAM on a laptop is lost on me.
