I have a big Problem
I bought a gaming Laptop from ACER and it doesnt work like it should.
About two weeks ago i accidently shut my laptop while playing and i dropped to 30-40 fps instead of 150-200. Then i shut it und opened it again and it "worked"(~150FPS) for about 30sec and then it lowered the framerate again(30-40FPS)

Last time nothing helped. I had to reinstall windows(then it worked) to make it fast again and i dont want to reset my pc every two weeks for i something where i dont know what to do about it.

I beleave that the laptop thinks he is is standby mode thats not the case.

Sometimes it works excelent but after about 45 min it is "overheating"(still cold) and the speed is massivly decreased

Solution

40 degrees celcius while under load? I'm certainly no expert, but the gpu in the laptop in my sig (below) IDLES between 35-40 degrees celcius. I realize your laptop is not the same as mine, but with yours being thinner, I would think it would have a good chance of running warmer. What games are you playing, and are you sure the laptop is using your discrete graphics card, and not...

I used msiAfterburner and it told me that my gpu was on about 40 °C
Using aspire V17 Nitro

What i need is something to tell my pc that it is allowed to overheat or something like that... or at least that it sould always perform as good as possible
