Does accidentally pulling on HDMI cable while plugged in the HDMI port of tv damage the port? If it was a gentle accidental pull or tug?. My cord got jammed on the bottom Right corner of my tv and i didn't see and I accidentally pulled on it. It was not a hardcore pull. Berly any pressure. I'm just concerned cause I just bought my TV and I have ocd with these type of things,i always quickly want to exchange items for little things like this.

Are they durable? I'm just so concerned about it. It wasn't a hard tug. Was berly any pressure but there was a bit.

The risk is very slight. It's pretty routine for cables and ports of various kinds to experience slight tugs or torques. A much heavier jolt, or a pattern of wear over time would be expected to damage a port.

This is why I prefer VGA and DVI - HDMI is great but the port isn't secure enough when using really good quality cables!
