I thought I was going to be clever and get my 5.1 Logitech z5300's to work on my laptop. (MSI GE60)

I ordered the Sound Blaster Omni 5.1 Surround usb soundcard and hooked everything up. Unfortunately, there's ZERO sound coming from the subwoofer. When I plug the subwoofer into the front speaker Y-split cord, I can hear it but then the front speakers don't work obviously. So I either get crystal clear 5 speaker sound or 2 rear speakers and a sub. There's no way to have both. The back of the plug for the Omni says "Center/Sub" and the center plays fine but not the sub.

Livechat from creative just spammed me with downloading the drivers that I already installed from their website.

Things I've tried:

1) Disabling realtek onboard completely
2) Restarting computer
3) Every plug configuration I can think of
4) Switching the back of the sub with the 2.1, 4.1, 5.1 settings

Any help here is appreciated. I'm used to my desktop where I have my HT Omega Soundcard and everything just works perfectly. This is a pain in the ass.

The wires are plugged in correctly.

The Sound Blaster Omni has its own sound control panel to put into 5.1 so that's also set up.

All 5 speakers work, just not the sub. If I plug the sub into something like the front wire connection, it works.
