I have an old Pioneer amp with only 1 aux output and I just bought a new turntable that needs to hook to that; won't work on the phono inputs. I also have a cd player that needs to be hooked to aux. What do I do?

Question from Thumpower : "Not enough aux outputs"

I have an old Pioneer amp with only 1 aux input. I just bought a new turntable that won't work on the phono inputs; it demands aux hookup. Problem is I already have a CD player hooked up to the only aux input. What do I do?

1. Your new turntable likely has a switch to turn off the built in phone preamp. Look under the record platter and on the back. If you do this it will work fine on the phone input.
2. You can use a tape input if it has one. Same as aux. Make sure to connect to tape in not record or tape out.
3. You can buy an input selector to expand the receiver
