the best anti virus is windows defender built in to windows10 any free anti virus u get what u dont pay for not worth the hassle where defender is built into ur os always upto date it good i run defender on all of my sets ups personally free anti virus software should be banned as most of the stuff is more vunerable to be hacked

Windows Defender misses more viruses that a normal free antivirus, it`s not perfect. Good free antiviruses are Malwarebytes free and Avast. Malwarebytes free has no real time protection while avast does. I use them both; I use Malwarebytes for scanning and I use Avast for real time protection.

AVG free is good
best free is probably Qihoo 360, because of behavior blockers and multiple antivirus engines
