I am thinking of getting a Lenovo 300-17ISK. It has a E3-6100U processor, 4 GB of DDR3L-1600MHz Ram and an Intel HD 520 Graphics card. In a couple of reviews I have read it is recommended to add more ram to get it to perform better. I'm not going to be doing any heavy gaming but I would like web pages to load quickly and stream movies with no lag time.
My question is would I gain much by adding two sticks of matching 4GB or 8GB ram? And could I use faster ram, say DDR3-1866 MHz.
This is my first time posting here but I have read a number of posts with recommendations that make a lot of good sense to me.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

If added information is needed please ask.

Well the system you are referring to should be good and give you no lag for surfing and online movies. Not unless your ISP causes the lag. ;)

Nothing is stopping you from upgrading. Your system should be able to handle up to 16 total, but to be honest, I don't think having that much would be necessary unless you get into heavy gaming. I run at 6 now and am a movie nut. (Oh don't get me started on all the movies I have watched.) No lag unless it is coming from the ISP.
