Sorry, I should have made it clearer, the onscreen keyboard has been changed to the correct UK one, it,s the folio keyboard that is typing yankee?
It has happened once before, and some web site somewhere reccomended that I press FN and one or more keys, I did that and it returned to UK keyboard, but do you think I can find that webpage again ??? I am 74 after all and I am allowed a bit of scattiness.
Some webpages have said, "take the numbers lock off" of course on the folio keyboard there is NO numbers lock.
Thanks anyway

Tried, zero, tried fn plus all the top row, and half of them down the right hand side tried fn+alt + numbers, tried fn alt ctrl, nothing, and STILL no reply from Lenovo so called customer support, thats 7 yes 7 days, it,s a good job it's not urgent ain't it ??

I have been approaching this like a laptop, but yours is a tablet. Try one of these...

1. On the physical keyboard, press and hold the Windows key and then press the Spacebar. This should cycle through your input methods.

2. If you have a touchscreen, you can switch your touch keyboard layout by tapping or clicking the keyboard icon. Next then top or click the keyboard layout you want to switch to.

3. Or you can also tap or click the language abbreviation in the notification area of the desktop taskbar. It should be at the far right. Then tap or click the keyboard layout or input method you want to switch to.
