have u tested with substitutes...adapters, batteries, power chords???
wat kind of power plan are u on currently???

No, don't have any other bricks or batteries, and balanced, respectively.

I'll check the connections all the same.

anyways check on the connections and change to both extreme performance and extreme power saving and report back if theres anything significant...

On other occasions, the laptop also won't turn off. I'll select turn off in the windows menu, the screen goes black, and then a few second later, it comes back on in the login screen. Repeating this process from the login screen has the same result. Pressing the power button once does the same thing. I have to hold the power button before it will turn off.

That's another issue that I've been having. Able to shed some light on that?

type regedit and go to registry...
wat we are looking for is... HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
then go to... powerdownaftershutdown and change it to 0 if its 1 or viceversa...

It's not a consistent thing, though. It's rare when it happens, but it does happen. Would that still apply?

No change on different power modes

ideally, this is done when it happens consistently...but, its ur discretion whether u feel its worth it or not...

Connections are all fine. Nothing wrong there.

Changed the state from 0 to 1, btw. No change.

Does this only happen when you are on battery power or does this happen when you are plugged in as well?

To me, this sounds like a short going on somewhere in the physical system, or in its ports. I wouldn't know how to check for that, though.
Also possible that it shuts down from overheating, no?

GPU and CPU only reach 70C when gaming, they idle around nothing for the GPU (because it's off) and 30 - 40C for the CPU. It's not a heat issue, but it was a good guess.

I'm going to check the connections of everything again in the laptop and see where that sets me.

Then it could be the charger port. Or the charger.

yeah...it shd be the adapter chord in that case...

either that or when connected to the wall, its triggering something in the system process, which might have to do with voltages...

recheck that chord again with a substitute adapter/socket...

Ah, therein lies an issue. I don't have another adapter. Nor do I really want to get one right now.

Any other ways to test if it's that specifically?

well...unfortunately there are no substitutes to adapters...specially for testing purpose...
i thought u had that covered when u said ur connections are fine...

Connections in the computer. I thought that maybe something could've been loose enough to come out when I bumped it, but still in enough to go back in after.
