Hi,

I have a replacement keyboard for my Toshiba Satellite L50D-C laptop ready to go but I can't find any replacement videos/guides for this particular model. The keyboard itself consists of not just the keys but the entire top cover for the laptop case when the screen is open.

I had a problem a while go with the LCD screen which had a cable that needed replacing and thinking I could do it myself easily I set about taking the computer apart and ended bending the speaker grille out of shape. For this reason I bought a new cover because this computer was a gift which I use for my work and so I want it to look as good as when I got it. Does anyone have an idea how to do it for this model?

Thanks.

While finding one for your exact model may be impossible (it happens, there are a lot of different models out there) if you view ones for similar models, within your brand, then you should be able to get through it. :)

I would just suggest actually watching a few of them, this way you can get a better understanding of what you are doing and looking for. If necessary, write down some or all of the info so that you can refer back to it. Or even save links to the videos on say a phone so you can view it while working on the laptop.
