I have a near new HP Envy 13 (thin model) and I have roughly 4% of battery drain per 24 hours when it it completely turned off (not hibernate, sleep etc.)

I am on Windows 10

I have:
Disabled usb charging
Disabled fast boot
Turned off dynamic tick
Run 3 full drain/charge cycles
Updated bios to latest
factory reset

and a ton more but nothing works, there is still a lot of drain.
How can I Fix this?
Thanks

Solution
Well it sounds like the laptop is not shutting off completely even though windows says so.

Try this:
Shut down like normal.
Take out the battery.
Wait a few mins - grab a coffee, pet the cat... etc

put the battery back in and turn it on.
Chances are you will see some new/changed messages when windows powers back on. That may give you a clue whats going on.

lastly, i would set aside some time to call HP and see if they can shed some light on whats going on.

Hi, when a laptop is OFF with just the battery connected, you have on the motherboard some voltages who are always there. So, those voltages draw some current from the battery, maybe those voltages draw more current that they should on your laptop. This is just a theory for your problem.
