Hello all,

I have an Asus X555-LB. I have had it for one year. It performs well and has a BIOS time of 3.8 seconds. However, after the laptop starts up it is very slow. When I type try to search something on chrome, the words show up very slowly.

Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Have you made sure to clean out your Chrome history and cache recently? Since it doesn't do it on its own, and most people don't actually think to do it, this can really slow down how fast you can do things through it.

NOTE: Before removing/clearing anything, make sure you have any info you regularly need (IDs, PWs, URLs, etc.,) saved. People get so used to leaving things logged in that they then get stuck when any of it is closed.

You should also check what programs are always running and make sure there is nothing running all the time that you don't need, or don't want.
