Hey guys, I've been thinking of getting a laptop lately, and I really need some help. So far, I think that the HP Spectre is a pretty good laptop, and I was originally gonna get that, but I know that there are better ones out there. I just wanted to ask what your personal favourite laptops are. Nothing too expensive, just in the 1000-1500 price range, I want something that is fast, has good specs, but still has great design and presentation. Or should I just stick with the HP Spectre? Thanks!

After you have gone through the numbers and the cost, the rest are personal subjective. You have no preference whatsoever? Is like buying a car or a shirt, some people want to buy all-black, some like aggressive-looking, some go "must be green" blah-blah. Buy something that says YOU, don't go by what everybody else's personal preferences.
Have you solved your problem yet? Or is there anything this forum could help? I personally would go for the most suitable option for myself so it is your own choice of the laptop. If you want to play games on it then get a gaming one. HP have some good ones at the moment, but however if you want to do some normal school stuff than a cheap tablet or a chromebook would be enough I guess. But also it depends on your budget. There is also lot of people suggesting not to get a gaming laptop but build a PC which does give out much more power, so it is just your own choice.
