I recently purchased a soundblaster zxr. I'm looking for a pair of computer speakers to compliment them.

The ones I'm looking at are:

klipsch promedia 2.1

m-audio av42

Mackie Cr4's

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I wouldn't mind suggestions for other speakers around this price range too.

Thank you!!!

unless you need the headphone amplifier, you'd probably be better with a DX or external dac paired up with something like cr3/cr4, a2/a5 or similar. if you need a sub you can add a dayton for fairly cheap.

promedia isnt terrible but the subwoofer overpowers the satellites so you would need to run it at lowest setting to prevent that. otherwise, it was decent. i ended up returning it and getting some of the home theater speakers from klipsch since i liked them overall
