Hi All, i'm currently pretty lost on wiring up my powerd desktop speakers (MAUDIO AV40's) and the active sub Yamaha YST-SW012

I want to have these wired up so i can just have an aux cable to plug into whatever device(tv or phone) and it will work.

Could anyone help me?
Here are pictures of the back of speakers and sub

When you are trying to bring disparate pieces together and expect them to work harmoniously with everything, ha! good luck. This is what normally needs to happen:

Source audio ---> CROSSOVER CIRCUIT ====> L+R Speakers PLUS Subwoofer.

The crossover splits the frequency so the correct signal is sent to the L+R, as well as the sub.

The crossover is built into devices that have L+R and SUB OUT like the back of a Receiver.

Some sub also has this crossover built-in, but in this sub box you will see hookups for your L+R so: Source ---> SUB ---> L+R. This L+R however needs to be passive, un-powered.

So for your current speakers, you need to find a stand-alone crossover box, to be placed between the source and the speakers. I have no...
