I bought an Asus ROG Laptop from a buddy used, and it's been working great for about a year. Recently, the laptop has begun making this thumping or clunking noise on the upper left side. I have opened up the laptop and cleaned it, and everything appears to work okay, but the thumping noise continues. I'm afraid it may be the hard drive going, but I don't want to assume the worst. Any help is greatly appreciated. Model is the ROG G750JW.
