As the title says, every time I try to install Windows on my brand new laptop I get the same error that happens during installing updates. Error says that installation files are corrupt but I've tried with several legit DVDs and none works so it must be something with laptop. I haven't tried installing Linux or something because I want Windows.

Is there anything I can do to fix it or should I just return it?

UPDATE: I've succesfully installed Ubuntu. Any ideas how to get Windows up and running?

Same prob and fix is here. It's also the same laptop

The answer

I talked with one of my techy-friends and he told me that when I tried to install Windows 10 I formatted everything including boot0 that affected my hdd. I think this is caused by freeDOS OS.

The workaround when you format boot0, as I understood, is to get a bootable DVD with linux and make your format from there.

Yeah, after I installed Ubuntu I tried again with Windows. It worked! I don't know why I had to do all of that but I'm glad it did.

Sweet ! Like it says when you formatted it deletes boot0 as well. Which by the looks of is needed, and thats why it failed
