Hi everyone!

My 4 years old laptop suddenly wont boot up, not even the asus logo. When the laptop is plugged in, it starts up on its own but black screen with power indicator on and wifi indicator blinking, no light for hdd indicator. Fan is working fine, usb port ok, caps lock not working. If I shut down by pressing the power button, the laptop will then starts to on and off by itself. Tried with battery pack also the same problem. Battery indicator on if plugged to charge.
Before this, date and time was not up to date and is fixed. Hard disk dump blue screen happened once recently.

Anyone know how can I bring it back to life? Appreciate the help and thanks in advance!

Solution
Hi, the laptop starts by itself and the date and time were not up to date, those symptoms are coming generally from your CMOS battery. You could check if you have 3 volts from the CMOS battery.
