I have a dell inspiron 15 5000 series windows 10 laptop. I have had it maybe a month with no issues. I just had a dell update that updated the bios. Afterwards it won't boot properly. It just goes to a black screen and says:

PXE-E61 : Media test failure, check cable

PXE-M0F : Exiting PXE ROM.
No Boot Device Found. Press any key to reboot the machine

I am not a computer expert by any means, so rather than saying "check the bios", please say how exactly to do that. Thanks in advance.

Well, you could go through checking everything yourself, however, that said, since this is a brand new computer, it shouldn't be giving you such problems. Even after an update. I would really suggest contacting the place of purchase or the manufacturer about the issue. Better to do that, and have them fix and/or replace it, than void your warranty.
