Sony VAIO VGN-FZ21Z not starting up after thermal event

Help! My VGN-FZ21Z doesn't startup after thermal event (I guess, the fan was running really loud) .. When I press the power button absolutely nothing happens! (Even the power led doesn't activate) And I don't think that it's a broken mobo because I had a laptop that had a broken mobo and the fan was still working... Please respond soon!

If your laptop experienced a "Thermal Event" it is completely possible that one or more components was damaged and/or fried.

The only way to know for sure is to, if you feel comfortable doing it yourself, open it up and check everything. Or, should you not feel comfortable doing this, take it to a local tech or repair shop and let them have a look at it.
