Hi, my laptop: satellite L655d-s5164, was down for a while the screen was black as if the laptop is off. I tried connecting using hdmi to my tv, still nothing. I decided to switch the hard drive with another from another satellite laptop. Finally my screen was back, now i am still unable to connect to the tv as i am not getting the option to change from the default monitor. I checked dxdiag: display everything is n/a except for the display mode. My screen is freezing, it's blurry, seeing all icons in doubles on my desktop. Is this my graphics card? Please assist. I tried downloading the drivers also, no success.

Sure sounds like the video is on its way out. I'd try to get all of your sensitive data off that laptop asap. Uninstall all drivers for the video and reinstall them from AMD's Website.

This should work on your laptop, Display driver uninstaller http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html, Remove all AMD/ATI drivers and reboot.

Download the newest AMD drivers from AMD and install them and reboot http://support.amd.com/en-us/download

If all looks well, run some tests and see how its goes.
