Hello,

My laptop HP Pavillion G6 is from 2011. I used it for minecraft and school, and recently wiped its hard drive because it was running a bit slow. Previously running windows 7, now running windows 10, it can't even playback hd videos (which is really what I do now with the laptop) Is there anything I can do, or do I just deal with it?

Specs:
i3 2330m @ 2.20ghz
4gb ram

Solution
Use the chrome addon called "Disable Youtube™ HTML5 Player" so that videos will be played with flash, hard to believe but they came out with something even worse then flash...
Also go to your chrome settings->advanced and enable hardware acceleration.

First thing though, make sure your iGPU driver is up to date.

I watch Youtube on google chrome. Its not about the connection since I can watch videos in 1080p fine on my phone. When I watch videos in 720p+, I experience desync from the audio and the video (audio keeps playing while the video freezes and speeds up at times) as well as occasional audio stutters. I also forgot to mention that even opening programs is quite slow (keep in mind its a fresh install of windows, I reinstalled windows 10 onto an empty hard drive and have not downloaded anything but malware bytes since) and even disabling the touch pad takes a while and even after that it freezes the computer for a few seconds.
