How to stop hibernating in my HP laptop

Solution
Open a command prompt as an Administrator and type the following "powercfg.exe /hibernate off" minus quotes of course. This will shut that accursed feature right off and get you some hard drive space back too.

Heya, what you are going to want to do is open the control panel > type in search 'power' > Under 'Power Options' select 'Edit Power Plan' > you can then change when your computer goes to sleep (if you click 'change advanced settings' you can customise it even further

Hope this helped!
