Nothing specific, as long as it looks good.

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
Portable

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
Maybe some light video editing, not necessary by any means.

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
128 SSD minimum

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?
As long as possible, at least 4-5 years

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
None necessary

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.
I've had bad experiences with Acer and Toshiba laptops in the past, so none of those. I'm not going to buy a Macbook, so that's out too. Anything else is ok.

I need something I can take around my college campus every day, so it should be pretty light. I've been looking at primarily the Thinkpad 13 and the XPS 13, but all suggestions are welcome. Thanks!
