Laptop not booting properly?

So I have just gotten back my laptop from warranty (funnily enough), and I also upgraded
it to Windows 10 from Windows 8.1 about 4 days ago. I am not sure if the upgrade is the problem though.

[strike]My problem is that I have noticed whenever the laptop battery drains/dies out, Windows doesn't seem to boot properly when I try to restart the laptop with the charger in. I haven't a clue what could be linking the battery to this problem. [/strike]

The only way I have temporarily fixed this is by reinstalling Windows 10. This isn't a huge problem as the battery doesn't completely die out frequently with my use as I use a charger.

UPDATE: So I have found out that the problem has nothing to do with the battery, though I still am not sure what the
problem is as I have tried just about everything. I have scanned with antivirus, checked for corrupt files, clean installed a bunch of
times and nothing has worked. But now I have tried resetting the laptop from the Windows menu and it has gotten worse. It was stuck in an endless loop, with an error message saying "the computer restarted unexpectedly... etc). There was a popular solution to the error; setting the data value for the setup.exe in "childcompletion" to 3 instead of 1 in the reg. I did this, but now the laptop just skips the "installing Windows 10" part and freezes on a black screen. So I basically can't seem to do anything to access the bios or whatnot.

Thank you,

Why did you have to send in the laptop to be fixed in the first place? If you have several RAM sticks, remove one and try again, or try with a different RAM stick.

The BIOS should be accessible before Windows starts to load, what happens when you try to get to the BIOS?

I sent the laptop in as the wifi card wasn't working properly (it was to do with the hardware) and general
wear and tear on the case of the laptop and the hinges.

And when I try to get into the BIOS via pressing F3 nothing happens. The laptop just continues to boot
through the process I described:

"but now the laptop just skips the "installing Windows 10" part and freezes on a black screen"

I have searched some more, and found that you can use the delete key too to get into the bios, F3
was the one I usually used, but now I have used delete and I can get into the bios now.

Are there any BIOS options that could possibly help with the problem? I have already played with
the boot order, but nothing seems to change.

Thanks

Well I have fixed most of the problems by deleting the current volume from the BIOS and reinstalling Windows 10 from a USB drive.

Everything boots fine now, but the display adapters don't seem to work at all. When I enable the GPU (GTX 970M) the
computer starts freezing and after a few restarts, doesn't seem to boot properly. The only way I have temporarily fixed this is by
going to the Device Manager in safe mode and disabling the GPU, but then I cannot use the GPU and games get laggy..
