Hello... I bought this new LG gram notebook, i5 with 256gb ssd.
I am using a paid version of McAfee.
My internet speed is a 60mbps package. On other laptops in my home the speeds are more than 40mbps according to speedtest.net but on my LG gram it's shows 4mbps only. Google Chrome doesn't open at all and my other laptops are also using the McAfee antivirus but all working fine.
Is this laptop like this only or any other software related issue which I need to fix.
Sometimes internet speeds are normal but most of the time it's very slow and Chrome issue is always.
After uninstalling and reinstalling installing Chrome, Chrome works 2-3 times then the same problem.
Is it any software issue or antivirus ?
(As per my logic It couldn't be antivirus maybe as my other laptops have the same antivirus.)
Please help
Thanks.

Have you tried disconnecting the laptop from the WiFi and remove all WiFi info and settings from it. Then restart the modem/router and once it is finished reloading, reenter all the info on the laptop to access the WiFi again.

If this doesn't help, try connecting it via Ethernet cord and see if you still get the same speed problems. If you do not, then it is definitely a WiFi issue. Are you perchance in a bad area in relation to the modem/router?

Also, how many devices are running on the WiFi, and what are they doing? While the speed you have should not be effected that much, what is being done can have some effect (as well as the number of devices). And time of day will effect as well. I would check with your service provider. I...

I would check with your service provider. I know mine starts to have issues between 5pm and 11pm. Which is quite annoying. That is less of a problem now, since I started complaining to them that I should get what I pay for. ;)

You may also want to change the password on your WiFi, to make sure no one else, outside who you allow, is using it.
