So I'm able to get my computer to display through HDMI to my Samsung TV. but.. there is no sound. I've tried going to sound, then setting what I believe is my TV'S speakers, (The audio from my tv when I'm on Netflix is played through the TV.) to default device but.. It says, "NVIDIA HDMI Output (Port0) is not plugged in. I believe it's my TV'S audio device because it has a TV icon to the left of it.
I'm using Windows 7, if that helps at all.
Please help me!

Solution
when you go to sound from Control Panel in Win7 - in the 'playback' tab is there not an 'hdmi output' selection and a 'speakers' selection available? You want to make 'hdmi out' the default (right click on it and select 'set as default device'). Your laptop has to be connected to the tv via the hdmi cable and the tv has to be on. Hope this works.
