I have a Sony VAIO Laptop, model #: VPCEE23FX

Recently I upgraded to Win10 from Win7, for free, thanks to MS.

After a fresh install of WIn 10, I proceeded to install the necessary drivers, and everything goes smoothly.

The following day I try to boot the laptop, but all I get is the BIOS splash screen, then nothing, just a black screen with the backlights on.

I restart, try to access the boot options with F8, nothing, BIOS splash, then a black screen with the backlights.

I even try to access the BIOS menu but after about 3-5 seconds of being in the settings, it cuts out, with a blank screen,

I've tried to enter the BIOS menu several times (pressing F2), but once I'm in there, it cuts out and is just a black screen.

I've detached/reattached the HDD, switched the RAM sticks around, even switching out the RAM with spares, all to no avial.

Any help and or suggestions from a fresh perspective would be greatly appreciated.

When the Windows 10 update fails to install correctly, the first time around, Windows 10 then tries to roll it back (as is standard procedure). However, because the new OS has updates set to be automatically done (forced), Windows then tries to install it, again, after rebooting. This then causes a loop of reboots in some cases, or being stuck unable to boot at all.

Your only option may be to downgrade back to Windows 7.
