I restarted my laptop after an update was prompting me to restart and at the same time, my Windows 10 installation was trying to find updates and it was doing that for maybe 30 minutes so I thought maybe the updates it's trying to find is the one my laptop is asking me to restart. So I restarted it and all of a sudden the graphics turned to purple, the screen is almost entirely black, and I could barely see a thing. I just finished a system restore to before the updates were installed, but it didn't fix it. So I may restore to an even earlier time and see if that works. In the meantime, what can I do?

I'd like to continue downloading Windows 10 as I have a project so any help would be awesome!

EDIT: I can sorta see my desktop and downloaded the latest drivers. Restarted after installing but problem is still persisting. It's also detecting my resolution as 640 by something, maybe 480, when it should be 1600x900.

It could be that the graphics card is going, and the issue just occurred at the same time as the updates. However, that said, you might want to try and uninstall the Windows 10 and see if this resolves the issue. Some systems have had quite a horrible time with the upgrade.

Hi! Did you ever find a way to fix this? Having literally the same issue. Totally fine before a Windows 10 update, aftwards, every that should be white has a really harsh pink tint xD
