I am a resident from india and i bought a laptop from uae.when i came home it worked fine until i charged it ,then when on startup the screen is black but it works with an external monitor,after which i went back again to uae and it started working again when i charged it there and when i came back to india the same black screen returned.please help i need to use the lap in india

then could it be some kind of location based locking done by the manufacturer to only work in uae and not anywhere else?Is something like that even possible?cause two times i went to uae and it worked when i came back home it stopped working after some time

i dont think but have you checked for electicity output/input to match with india? I had a lot of foreign equipment and they all work fine in my home
