Sennheiser Bluetooth headphone problems

Alright so about a month ago i bought a set of Sennheiser Urbanite XL Wireless headphones and have been having some connectivity problems.

The Hardware;
Sennheiser Urbanite XL Wireless headphones
Asus BT 400 Bluetooth Dongle
Custom Windows 10 PC (4690k, GTX 980, AS Rock Extreme3)

The Issue;
These headphone work perfectly with an iPhone or iPad and on the windows pc when listening to music/youtube/movies. The Problem arises when playing games. When i launch a game the audio plays through the headphones fine untill the first loading screen and then just stops, the bluetooth control panel still shows the headphones connected but no audio from the speakers or the headphones. Some of the time if i turn them off and then back on they will work but most the time not.

The troubleshooting steps I have taken;
-driver uninstall and reinstall with most current from manufacturer website for both the dongle and the headphones
-tried multiple games all have the same issue
-different usb ports (USB 2 and 3)
-Pairing and unpairing
-Communicated with both Asus and Sennheiser, I tried all of their recommendations and still no luck (Great customer service from both companies BTW)


I really hope someone has some ideas because these headphones are awesome and I just want them to work!
