Question about Impedance

So I'm gonna purchase Sennheiser G4ME ZERO headset.
What I noticed on the website that I'm gonna buy it from, is that I saw that The white ones have 150 OHM's impedance and the black ones have 50 OHM..

My Motherboard is capable of running up to 600 OHM's on onboard audio.

My question is, Should I get the 150 or 50 OHM version? Does it make a big difference at all? (Sound quality wise)

while not always true, higher impedance headphones generally have better control over the drivers so may sound more articulate. not sure if its an issue in this case as the older model was 150 but the new is 50.

the older model was a bit hard to drive on some onboard which i believe is why they switched to a 50 ohm impedance design. your onboard may certainly handle it but remember... measuring by impedance alone is not correct and those motherboard specs are heavily overrated and none could really run 250 or 600 ohm cans well if at all.

tldr: you're likely fine in either case. 50ohm is newer. doubtful theres much difference in this case but in some cases higher impedance is a bit more defined.
