TV won't recognize laptop when connected via HDMI

Does your TV remote have an input button? If it does, in the HDMI list there will be as many options as there are HDMI connectors round the back of the set. They will be numbered and you have to tell the TV what input you want it to display.
Does that help? If not, have you told the laptop to extend its display to another monitor in Control Panel>Display?

in the input mood of the tv, I have 2 options for hdmi:ham1,hdmi2
in the tv lcd, I have 2 inputs
one of then is connected to my tv converter, and the other to the hdmi input of the leptop
even when I change between then the outcome is the seem
before few month, I was able to watch and suddenly it disappear
I will appreciate if you can help me

I don't think I can help. If your laptop is outputting to HDMI 2 and you set that in the TV set as the input you wish to watch, I'm afraid I'm out of ideas.
