Hi, I have a Compaq S104TX laptop (Windows 10) and it has only one audio I/O port. I recently picked up a Kingston HyperX Cloud Core and as luck may have it, it has 2 different jacks, one for audio in and one for the mic..so to counter that, I bought a soundcard and plugged both the jacks in there but when I used the headphones after, the sound quality was utter [CENSORED].
So then I tried to leave the mic jack on the sound card and the audio jack plugged into the audio port of the laptop but it refuses to work.
Anything I can do about this?
