I have an ASUS laptop which is bought at 2014 December, I haven't use it for 2 months until yesterday I found out my laptop is 0% of battery charge, so I plugged in then I discovered when I just touch my charger wire and my computer automatically shut down, just like PC cut out of power. Then I tried some times to reopen the computer, it just happened the same. So I think it is not the problem of charger or motherboard ( because if it is charger, then it won't charge, or motherboard I believe it will appear blue screen or something to warn me.) I also trying to take out my battery but I found out my laptop's battery is not disassemble. So I don't know what should I do, could you guys help me please? I guess its something system problem, I would just like a second opinion before repairing or buying a new one ( cause I didn't backup the files inside that computer )

Well it may be the port, rather than the wire, that is the problem. This would cause it not to charge correctly when connected, and also keep it from running, using the cord direct for power, rather than the battery.

If this is the case, then you would have to decide if you feel comfortable doing the repair yourself, or if not then take it to a local tech and see if the can do it for a reasonable price.

Note, even if for some reason the device needs to be replaced, you still may be able to get the files off it and moved onto another device.
